Welding Rod Numbers Decoded

Post by Red Dave » Fri Jun 07, 2013 1:16 pm

I found a page that explains what the numbers used on welding rod mean.
Like 6011 or 7018.

It is likely old hat to you accomplished welders, but I found it to be informative to an amateur like me.

Remember: I own a welder, but I don't claim to be one.

I've seen those before and they're good information. I made this one a sticky so it's easy to find. Thanks, Dave!
What do you mean I can't do that?
