Thank you sooooo much, Bill. I could have posted it, but I thought it would be better if the man that as there did it :)

Now, Bill wore his Dad's flight uniform in his honor on this flight.

Seriously cool video.

Is that a Douglas SBD Dauntless following it?

Hi, Dave.

No, that is a North American SNJ Texan that is not squadron owned, but is owned by a squadron member.

I wish someone had shot a video of it arriving at Cullpepper. :?

The NCS has put the nose art on the TBM.

Doris Mae:

They also had it to the Dulles Plane Pull Sat. 9/20/14 at Dulles airport.

Jim, there is footage of it arriving at Culpeper. I'll see if I can track down the footage for you.

The "real" Doris Mae was a nudie. I guess 2014 prudeness outweighed 1945 authenticity (lol).

Hope this works.
Thank you Julie Artz

About the nude Doris Mae; She was nude to start, but everyone complained, so the artist was called back to put clothes on her. :(

Today, 11/14/15, there was a reunion of the restoration crew and crew members ad descendants at the NCW in Culpeper, VA.
When they post a pic of the flight crew, I will post it here.
Hated to miss being there, but couldn't make it. :(
