My fairbanks Norris

Postby Dave Smith » Fri Feb 16, 2018 8:40 pm

For some reason beyond me, I have not been able to post here.
Also health issues.
I think I have finally got it working (I hope).
This is a 1937 ( as old as me) Fairbanks Morris 1 ½ hp model Z style D engine
I bought at a volunteer Fire Co flea market years ago.
It runs decent, and I thought I would pretty it up and fabricate a cart for it.
The front (small ) wheels I dug up out behind the barn. The larger wheels
I bought from the Amish. Everything else was just stuff I had around here.

Nice! Don't think I've ever seen one with a belt pulley like that.
What do you mean I can't do that?

There is a smaller one on the fly wheel.
The large one is driven off the cam shaft.
The drill motor is a electric starter I made for it.
Photobucket is giving me fits.
